WESTMINSTER (KTLA) -- Police in Westminster have arrested a burglary suspect that a homeowner found nude hiding under a bed.
The homeowner told authorities that he swapped bedrooms with his 10-year-old son and was awakened early Saturday by rustling sounds coming from beneath the bed.
That's when he found the suspect, naked and hiding under the bed.
The suspect apologized, put his pants on and fled, the homeowner said. The suspect also apparently told the homeowner he was on drugs.
Police say on Wednesday night, Westminster detectives located 23-year-old Edgar Antonio Lucha at a drug rehabilitation facility in Compton.
He was arrested without incident.
Police say Lucha got into the house by using a ladder he found in a side yard to climb through a second-story window.
He did not have a weapon and no one was hurt in the incident.
Lucha was booked into the Orange Jail on charges of burglary, indecent exposure, attempted lewd acts on a child and parole violation, officials said.
