Join the Lyman Allyn Art Museum as they kick off the holiday season right on time. On Fri., Nov. 29, at 10 a.m., the museum unveils The Unicorn Stampede, an installation of 24 "life-sized" unicorns by artist Camomile Hixon. On these unicorns is 750 pounds of glitter. What says holiday cheer like a whole lotta sparkle? If your family loves our horned, equine brethren, keep your Sundays in December open for Tea with the Unicorns. From 2-3:30 p.m., families can participate in scavenger hunts, make a craft and eat some snacks. Space for the teas is limited, so call (860) 443-2545, ext. 129 to make your reservation. The exhibit itself is open daily, except on Mondays, through Jan. 5.
