Cherie Currie (pictured) found fame as the lead singer of the pioneering all-female hard rock band the Runaways. Though the band only lasted four years before breaking up in 1979, Currie never stopped playing. Her latest album is a collaboration with Matt Sorum of Guns 'N' Roses, and features guest artists Slash and Billy Corgan, among others. Currie will perform material from the album, along with plenty of Runaways hits. The singer enjoyed a film career during the '80s, has written a memoir, Neon Angel, about her time with the Runaways, and currently enjoys chainsaw carving in her spare time.
Nov. 9, 9:30 p.m., $25-$27.50, Palace Theater, 75 Main St., Stafford Springs.
