"Hammered & Nailed: An Open Call to Creativity" is allowing participants to be what you might expect: creative. Started by Hartford Art School alumni Joe Bun Keo and Ashleigh Kay (whose "Magenta" is pictured above) in 2011, "Hammered & Nailed" is open to all artists, whether experienced or new, to bring up to three of their own works with no stated themes, size limitations or medium requirements. The end result will be an exhibition where the artist is allowed to experience themselves fully with no limitations.
