Greg Beato: They Say the First Person Who Will Live to 1,000 Years Old Has Already Been Born. Gross.
According to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, life expectancy in the U.S. has hit a new all-time high. Today’s newborns should endure for an average of 78 years and two months, which will take them to the summer of 2089. That is, of course, if climate change, tsunamis, nuclear meltdowns and a bankrupt Social Security system don’t get them first.
