1st) Studio Zee Tattooing & Body Piercing
"Owner Andrew Sistrand has only refused one customer in the 35 years he’s been tattooing. The man wanted a “super tan,"" meaning he wanted his whole body — eyelids and all except for the bikini line — tattooed brown. Aside from that, and a couple of flash in the pan trends like temporary tattooing and fingernail art, Sistrand said he’s down to try anything. “We’re only trend followers as much as our customers are,” Sistrand says. Although the ink is permanent, Sistrand says a lot has changed in his business over the years. “There’s more variety now than there ever has been now that everyone is hooked into the Internet. Years ago people would choose flash art off the wall, but now people come in with pictures from a cell phone,” Sistrand says. "
