Whether you prefer your margarita frozen, straight up or on the rocks, Taco Loco has something to please your palate. Co-owner Miguel Tomasio recalls that for years he only needed to carry two types of tequila. But now that his customers have become such sophisticated drinkers he stocks 75 blue agave premium tequilas and offers tequila flight events where they can taste several and tell him which they like. The restaurant’s signature brand is Sauza Tequila featured in its daily $5 frozen margarita lunch special and all day Tuesdays. "It’s made from scratch with fresh lime juice," Tomasio emphasizes. "It has to be fresh!" That maxim extends to the other fruit flavors that are used: banana, mango, melon, passion fruit, peach, strawberry, raspberry and watermelon. You can even arrange for Taco Loco to cater a margarita cocktail party for special events.
