Stressed to the Max

The "flight or fight" syndrome kicked off by stress is a great thing, until it kills you. Our stress response gives us the focus, strength and speed to flee from an attacking grizzly or meet a looming deadline. But, when the stress is chronic, our response puts us at risk for heart disease, obesity, cancer and a load of other illnesses.
