TMI: Tyler English
To write a book about my journey over the past 10 years.

What is the greatest achievement of your life so far?

Starting my business, as it’s led me to so many great accomplishments in less than three years.

What has been your greatest disappointment?

Not being able to help every person who has ever walked into my gym. But as I’ve learned in my 10-plus years in the fitness industry, you can’t help those who aren’t willing to help themselves.

If your 20-year-old self could see you now, what would he think?

Good work, homey!

If you lost everything tomorrow, what would you do?

Go back to the drawing board and do it better.

If you could rate your satisfaction with your life so far, out of 10, what would you score?

I’m my biggest critic, so I would say 8.8, as I’ve got plenty room for improvement.

Book that changed your life?

The Go Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann

Dream dinner date?

A candlelit dinner, windowside on the Top of the Hub in Boston with my future wife and a bottle of Ruffino Riserva Ducale Chianti Classico Riserva 2005.

Brains or beauty?

Brains, what good is beauty if there is nothing inside.

Money or sex?

Money, as great as sex is. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make this world go round.

Personal motto?

Don’t talk about it, be about it.

Most envious of?

Donald Trump and not because of his hair. The guy has proven you can fail over and over again and still succeed.

Most proud of?

The men and women of the United States Armed Forces. My brother, Sergeant Robert P. English, served five years in the United States Marine Corps.
