What was your earliest ambition?
After my grandfather taught me how to read the scoreboard in the local newspaper’s sports section I wanted to become a sports journalist.
How physically fit are you?
We will just say I practice what I preach and then some. I pride myself on being a professional natural bodybuilder who trains more like a world-class athlete. I actually won my World Natural Bodybuilding Federation professional natural bodybuilder status three years ago.
How do you encourage someone who isn't physically fit to become so?
People are comfortable being comfortable. So the sooner I get them out of their comfort zone, the faster they will realize what they’re missing in life.
What makes a good trainer great?
Years of practice and constant improvement. A great trainer will not only “get it” but they know how to teach it.
If you could change one thing about your body, what would it be?
I’d like to be taller.
How politically committed are you?
I know what I need to know. Next question.
Do you consider your carbon footprint?
Not as much as I should, but we do recycle at both of my gyms!
What ambitions do you still have?
