What is the greatest achievement of your life so far?
My education. Because I'm dyslexic, I went to the Forman School in Litchfield, which helped prepare me for all of my educational achievements, which include a degree in studio arts from Arizona State, a real-estate studies degree from Boston University and an MBA from Suffolk University.
What was your earliest ambition?
To be an actress; I used to watch “Dynasty” and want to be Joan Collins.
Who is your mentor?
My dad, as he made himself who he is by working very hard to get to where he is. There is a good balance of hard work, scandal, family and a great social life.
How physically fit are you?
Very. I do Gyrotonic, which is like a 3-D version of Pilates, three times a week.
Ambition or talent: what matters more to success?
Talent. I think sometimes I'm able to skate on talent without a lot of work.
How politically committed are you?
Zero. I don't pay attention to politics unless I'm dating someone into it.
Do you consider your carbon footprint?
I do, but I think I have a big one.
What would you like to own that you don't currently posses?
A real Birkin. Otherwise, an engagement ring.
What's your biggest extravagance?
Lanvin and McQueen. My personal trainer is a necessity.
In what place are you happiest?
Ram Island Farm and the Delano [in Miami]. I go there for 48 hours by myself; I sunbathe, I go to the spa, eat great sushi, watch hotel movies and leave.
What drives you on?
I'd like my parents to be proud of me.
What has been your greatest disappointment?
I don't really have any regrets. Anything that has been a disappointment has made me who I am.
If your 20-year-old self could see you now, what would she think?
She would be shocked but proud that she'd made it this far.
First record bought?
Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart.
Book that changed your life?
The Art of Worldly Wisdom by Baltasar Gracián.
What makes you laugh?
Life makes me laugh. My favorite Marilyn Monroe quote is: “If you can make a girl laugh, you can get her to do anything.”
Brains or beauty?
Brains. You can make yourself beautiful.
Money or sex?
Sex. Money can't buy you good chemistry.
Go big or go home.
Most envious of?
I desire but I'm not envious.
Most proud of?
My friends and family. I'm also most proud of my independence.
