To make my parents proud of me and attend a good college.
How physically fit are you?
I ran the Boston Marathon in April. It was my third marathon in 18 months.
Ambition or talent: which matters more to success?
Ambition. Talent doesn't always get recognized unless you have ambition.
Do you consider your carbon footprint?
Yes and no. My car gets 14 miles to the gallon, but I prefer to walk or bike when possible.
What's your biggest extravagance?
Being on a first-name basis with the staff at Lux Bond & Green.
In what place are you happiest?
Curled up in front of the fireplace at home.
What ambitions do you still have?
Finish a marathon in under four hours.
What drives you on?
Fear of failure.
What is the greatest achievement of your life so far?
My friendships and professional happiness.
What has been your greatest disappointment?
Giving my best to other people and not having them reciprocate.
If your 20-year-old self could see you now, what would she think?
You're back at Trinity? Didn't you graduate in 1998?
If you lost everything tomorrow, what would you do?
Call my best friend for help.
If you could rate your satisfaction with your life so far, out of 10, what would you score?
First record bought?
Debbie Gibson's True Blue.
iThingies: iPads, iPods, iAnything. Whatever happened to a handwritten note.
What makes you laugh?
Friends' obnoxious posts on Facebook.
Brains or beauty?
Money or sex?
The Preppy Handbook.
Look at the big picture.
Most envious of?
Women with sample-size feet.
Most proud of?
Where I am, from where I've come, and what I've experienced.
