Quinnipiac University Theater for Community presents a new twist on an old classic. Ernest in Love is a musical adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. The play, set in Victorian England, follows the trials of Jack Worthing, a young man smitten with Gwendolen Fairfax, a member of the aristocracy. Following a case of mistaken identity, Jack must woo Gwendolen, placate her stern mother, and safeguard his young ward. Directed by adjunct Theater professor Drew Scott.
