Water Wars

For two nights, award-winning composer Cory Gabel and the Sonia Plumb Dance Company team up to perform Water Wars, an exploration of human beings' physical and spiritual relationship to H2O, in all its watery, flowing glory. There's a message here; Water Wars carries with it a theme about social responsibility. Performance-wise, one could expect "fluid" dance moves, legato phrasings, soothing blue set backgrounds and such, or one could have their expectations completely turned around. Who knows? But this ain't no slip-and-slide, so leave the bikinis at home. (Or maybe wear them? We don't mind.)
