You may think you know everything about Rogers and Hammerstein, but that's probably not the best attitude to have when you check out Goodspeed's revival of Carousel, playing at their East Haddam location all the way through September. Julie Jordan (played by Teal Wicks, left) is a New England seaside mill worker and the recipient of pitched woo by roughneck Billy Bigelow (James Snyder, right). Director Rob Ruggiero breathes fresh life into this classic, which has largely become known for three killer tunes, "If I Loved You," "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "(When I Marry) Mr. Snow."
