If you haven't been to one, live comedy shows are a riot: drinks, friends, jokes that fall just outside the usual conventions of taste, good times for all. Comic Pete Lee (pictured), who'll perform at Collinsville's Bridge Street Live on Friday, tells jokes and shares observations that are candy-coated but mean in a welcome sort of way. He's appeared on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" (and has since filmed his own special for that network) and was a semi-finalist on NBC's "Last Comic Standing." So, yeah, he's funny.
