'Glass Guignol: The Brother and Sister Play' Playing at Wesleyan
Writer/director Lee Breuer, who also co-founded the New York-based experimental theater company Mabou Mines, staged Tennessee William's A Streetcar Named Desire in 2011 for the Parisian Comedie Francaise, then took his exploration of Williams further with Glass Guignol: The Brother and Sister Play, a meditation on the famed writer's strange, semi-erotic relationship with his sister, Rose Williams. Kinky weirdness? Probably. Head to the Connecticut premiere of the work on Saturday, but only after attending the free panel discussion with Breuer, Maude Mitchell, and dramaturg Thomas Keith on Feb. 14 at 4:15 p.m. (also at CFA Hall).
