I bet you know all the words to every one of ABBA's greatest hits. Or at least "Dancing Queen." And "Fernando." And "Mamma Mia." And "Waterloo." Hear them all played live Monday night at the Downtown Cabaret at ABBAmania, a not-quite ABBA show that will turn into a DJ-ed '70s dance party following the performance that will take us into the new year. Oh, and the costumes are made by the seamstress from the Broadway show Mamma Mia, not that you care or anything. Or do you? In 2013 the Downtown Cabaret will also offer shows from not-quite Rod Stewart, not-quite John Lennon, not-quite the Eagles and not-quite Simon and Garfunkel.
ABBAmania
Downtown Cabaret Theatre, 263 Golden Hill St., Bridgeport. Mon., Dec. 31, 8:30 p.m. $79. (203) 576-1636, dtcab.com.
