Landing a Broadway gig is the ultimate goal of many aspiring singers, but Broadway can be limiting in certain ways for a vocalist interested in many genres. The Broadway Boys, which comes to the Quick Center this Saturday night, is a show that encourages male singers from current New York plays to sing the show tunes that pay their bills but also pop, funk, gospel, jazz and folk. The "boys" are put into groups of six, which makes intricate, spot-on harmonies possible — something you'll rarely find in a Broadway show.
