'Oblivion' Playing at Westport Country Playhouse Aug. 20 - Sept. 8
Traditionally, parents and teenagers aren't always on the same page. The Westport Country Playhouse is world premiering a new provocative play called Oblivion Tuesday that probes that issue deeply. It's written by Carly Mensch, who's also a writer for "Weeds" and "Nurse Jackie." In the play, a Park Slope teenage girl's parents attempt to come to grips with who their child has become, and to figure out what she's really been up to despite some lying.
