Indian music and dance are kind of awesome. This Saturday, SCA's Palace Theatre will host an exotic show called Krishna that immerses viewers in an Indian landscape, taking them on a journey to Gokulam, Vrindavan, and Mathura, the divine realms of Lord Krishna, where all beings live in the light of Krishna, the "Ultimate Object of Knowledge and the Supreme Goal of Life. It's choreographed by the celebrated dancing couple Shijith Nambiar and Parvathy Menon, and it's most likely like nothing you've ever seen before. If typical theater offerings are getting stale for you, this could be a refreshing alternative.
Palace Theatre, Stamford Center for the Arts, 61 Atlantic St., Stamford. Sat., Apr. 27, 8 p.m. $30-$58. (203) 325-4466. stamfordcenterforthearts.org
