'Around the World in 80 Days' Playing at Fairfield's Quick Center on Feb. 8

The world was a simpler place in 1872. In one of Jules Verne's most famous books, Around the World in 80 Days, a man named Phineas Fogg accepts a challenge to circle the globe in 80 days, which was unheard of at the time. He and his sidekick Passepartout travel to exotic locations and have many adventures as a detective (who thinks Fogg is a criminal is hot in pursuit). The Walnut Street Theatre will present a one-night-only version of the show Friday night at the Quick Center, using just five actors to play all the parts.
