It's New England's oldest St. Patrick's Day parade, and we'd like to keep it that way. It seems every year it's in danger of not happening, but you can have a hand in making sure March 2014 comes with New Haven's annual painting a green stripe down Chapel Street, at Anna Liffey's tomorrow night. The Irish Beer Fair and Tasting kicks off at 5 p.m., for beer samples, live music from Relative Souls and Vudu Sisters, and food from the Anna Liffey's kitchen. You'll be able to participate in a charity raffle as well. Tickets are $15, the price of two fancy beers, just about.
Irish Beer Fair and St. Patrick's Day Parade Fundraiser, Sept. 6, 5-9 p.m. at Anna Liffey's. $15.
