Millwright’s is an artfully simple restaurant. Only the best will do when it comes to ingredients, preparation and innovation. The entire menu is philosophically grounded in a simply premise: to take traditional dishes and elevate them with head chef Tyler Anderson’s unique execution. On Tuesday evenings, Millwright’s offers the public two very unique options. Downstairs in the cozy tavern, a menu of simple pub food with a twist awaits. Patrons can expect classics such as a New England Lobster roll, packed with 2 ½ pounds of fresh buttered claw meat and paired with freshly prepared potato chips. Live music and a fireplace round out the downstairs ambience, with bartenders in suspenders bustling to and fro. Upstairs on the third floor loft, Chef Tyler and the master Sommelier will be providing a lucky number of guests with a tasting menu of six to eight courses, paired with wine and prepared in a small kitchen space that is within walking distance of the communal table. Or, if preferred, guests may sit at the bar and keep company with the head chef, chef de cuisine, and sommelier whilst they prepare the meal. Both upstairs and downstairs experiences are a unique way to dine on a night of the week not previously noted for its culinary innovation.
Reservations highly recommended: the first loft dinner on February 12th is already sold out
