Aids Project New Haven (apnh.org / March 19, 2013) |
Back in January, some jerks stole AIDS Project New Haven's Caring Cuisine van. While it was found in a couple of days, it was vandalized so much so that it could no longer be used. This has caused APNH's Caring Cuisine program, which provides free meals to homebound clients, or those unable to prepare their own meals, to not operate at its full potential.
Today, you can have some tasty Cuban food at Soul de Cuba Cafe, and the restaurant will donate a portion of today's proceeds to APNH so they can replace the van and continue the good work they've been doing.
You can also donate via APNH's website if you can't make it out today.
AIDS Project New Haven Caring Cuisine Van Fundraiser, March 19, till 10 p.m., Soul de Cuba Cafe.
