Get out those spoons and head to New Haven's East Shore Park if sampling a plethora of different chilis sounds like a good time. Community Action Agency of New Haven Inc. presents its 20th annual Chilifest, sanctioned by the International Chili Society, on Sat., Sept. 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The outdoor festival hosts a classic car show, food and retail vendors, activities for kids and more, in addition to more than 35 chili cooks strutting their stuff.
