National Tequila Day falls on a Wednesday this year. Will it be a sign to maybe not celebrate as hard so as to continue the work week unscathed on Thursday morning? Nah. We didn't think so.
SolToro Tequila Grill at Mohegan Sun has whipped up a special menu of fancy tacos paired with a different tequila in celebration. The TnT, or Tacos & Tequila, grants you a choice of three of these pairings for $29: Fish taco (with lime-spiked cabbage, pico de gallo and pickeled red onion) paired with El Tesoro Blanco; Grilled shrimp taco (with chayote slaw, guacamole and piquillo salso) paired with Maestro Dobel; grilled chicken taco (with roasted corn pico de gallo, sour cream and chipotle lime salsa) paired with Sauza Hornitos Anejo; crispy pork belly taco (with pineapple and guaca salsa, cilantro and onion) paired with Lunazul Anejo; filet mignon taco (with portobello mushroom, cilantro and SolToro salsa) paired with Herradura Reposado. Bring a friend and order the TnT², a taco platter made for two and two tequila flights for $55. Don't want to eat and waste all that stomach space on food? The Megarita, $39, is for you. I mean, it comes with five straws, so you should order it with four friends, but we're not here to boss you around.

If Uncasville is a bit far for your budget, New Haven has two pretty sweet tequila spots you could go grab a seat at instead.
