At Manchester's Wickham Park this Thursday, restauranteur/chef Billy Grant and Bricco Trattoria have farming on their minds. They'll present you with options, from a cocktail hour antipasti table crammed with assorted bruscetta, a farm fresh zucchini salad with soft herbs and lemon, chilled Stonington red shrimp with Calabrian pesto and local scallops, to plated courses fresh from the farm: beef sirloin, late summer sweet corn, bank swordfish, eggplant Parmigiano and much more. Save room for spiced Italian plums and cider zabaione.
