Hartford-area restaurants send their best mixologists to Farmington for a martini competition

Alongside tables of food provided by the Half Door, Peppercorn's Grill, Plan B Burger Bar, Tisane and other area restaurants, more than 30 competitors will whip up their best martinis with their eyes on the prize. And guess what? You get to be the judge. It's a benefit for CPTV, and the winner gets crowned the Official Cocktail of the Food Schmooze, radio host Faith Middleton's longtime, popular program. Designated drivers get in for $65.
