The Open Door Shelter is an organization that seeks to help the homeless and the working poor in Norwalk, and as the holidays approach they're holding a benefit at Fat Cat Pie Thursday to help raise some funds. There will be hors d'oeuvres, Fat Cat's thin-crust pizzas, artisanal cheeses and salads, Fountainhead wine, piano music and a holiday-themed silent auction. If you're going to spend $50 going out to eat anyway you might as well help out those in need along the way, no? We promise it will be delicious, as Fat Cat pizzas always are.
