Front Street Bistro is nestled within the Spotlight Movie Theater, so you can expect lots of movie allusions (and creative mixology) in their cocktails. Fans of the classic film, Seven Years in Tibet, will not be disappointed with the caliber of this drink, which has international flair and also may shatter your preconceptions of what a rum cocktail should be. For starters, the main attraction of the drink – Tanduay – is from the Philippines. A recent migrant to the US, this high end rum has been around since 1854, and has a smoother finish and silkier taste than many of its Caribbean cousins. Accompanied by a splash of RumChata – a creamy premium mixed liqueur with ingredients from several continents – and a finish of chai tea, Seven Sips of Tibet has a creamy flavor and mild finish which is absolutely consistent with a fall sipping cocktail.
