Max Downtown hosts an evening of champagnes, paired with decadent plates, at its Dec. 8 Champagne Classic in Hartford. The dinner starts with a reception at 5 p.m., featuring a tasting of 10 grower champagnes, passed hors d'oeuvres and raw bar.
