Songs with Misleading Titles
We all listen to music and have our own favorite songs. And many times, we fans try to decipher their meaning. Well, on top of it all, some writers go so far as to not only write confusing lyrics but to create misleading song titles as well. Whether they did it to purposely confuse us or to just be silly, here's a list of songs celebrating some of the most baffling song titles seen throughout the ages.

Blink-182 - Apple ShampooSeeing that washing one's hair has become not just an expected but a required routine for modern day citizens, expressing one's love for any scented shampoo through the majesty of song would therefore not only be appropriate, but quite thoughtful as well. Unfortunately, no such song has, to my knowledge, done this, not even Blink-182's "Apple Shampoo." Instead, singer Mark Hoppus decided to write about a failing relationship, singing: "I never wanted to hold you back / I just wanted to hold on / But my chance is gone." However, Mark Hoppus did say in an interview that the song was about a girl whose hair always smelled like apples. Well if that was the case, he should've directly referenced the shampoo! |
