Anything but a Groundhog List
Today is Groundhog Day! But because it is in fact Groundhog Day, everyone tends to forget about all the other animals out there. Well, we at the Advocate feel sorry for all these critters and have therefore created a list of animals who could easily take the title.

Marmot
For those of you who don't know, Marmots are large ground squirrels that live in burrows. Not only do they look a lot like groundhogs, but as of 2009, these little guys are actually celebrated as being Alaska's 'groundhog.' Let's give the marmot a hand! (Image taken from nps.gov).
