A Journey Through the History of Rock & Roll Pinball
Since the dawn of modern pinball in the 1930s, manufacturers have adapted every kind of license and character imaginable into machines (the first game to incorporate flippers was 1947's Humpty Dumpty), and musicians have been no exception. In addition to the recent AC/DC machine, Stern Pinball, Inc. released Elvis in 2004 and The Rolling Stones in 2011 - titles that extend a long-running but little-discussed tradition. Ahead, we revisit seven colorful machines from the past of rock & roll pinball. -By Reyan Ali
