Generally speaking, it's not much of an observation to say that a movie starring Adam Sandler is terrible. With a few exceptions ("Punch-Drunk Love," "Reign Over Me," "Funny People") the former Saturday Night Live member started out by being cast in some of this generation's silliest comedies, which is not necessarily a bad thing. But eventually Sandler got lazy, and began churning out boring, awful films, with its apotheosis being this weekend's "Jack & Jill," which has received scathing reviews.
