'Tis the season for outdoor concerts on a green surface. Tonight, those blues-soaked rockers NRBQ, led by founding member and keyboardist Terry Adams, play live at Hamden's Town Center Park as part of the Hamden Arts Commission's summer concert series. They've got more than 45 years' worth of material to choose from, so the odds are good that they'll play something to please fans of all ages.
Should the weather turn sour, the HAC may move the show indoors at Hamden High School. Call the Arts Commission at (203) 287-2546 or listen to AM 1220 WQUN or WEBE 108 (107.9 FM) for info. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and is free.
