Make Do and Mend Play The Space in Hamden on Dec. 15

Make Do and Mend, Hartford's four-piece melodic hardcore outfit, are preparing for a Canadian tour this winter, with Run For Cover Records' Seahaven and Young Statues touring in support. To kick off the tour, they're joining forces with similarly ambitious CT-born band Hostage Calm at their record release show at The Space. Now based partially in Baltimore, Hostage Calm will return to Connecticut to celebrate the release of Please Remain Calm, their latest album, which furthers their stylistic shift from posi hardcore to smart, Smiths-tinged pop punk. For their part, Make Do and Mend will perform their 2009 EP, Bodies of Water, in its entirety. The show also features openers Captain, We're Sinking and Dagwood.
