Yellow Red Sparks began as a stage name for California musician Joshua Hanson. Eventually, the band grew into a trio, and gained the depth and range that won them the Grand Prize in the International Songwriting Competition and a mention on NPR's All Songs Considered. Yellow Red Sparks is touring in support of their recently released self-titled album, and their East Coast route takes them through The Space. Fans of theatrical, narrative folk music will want to pay attention to this one.
