Amanda Kaletsky, Beth Patella and North Shore Troubadours Play the Spaceland Ballroom on March 9

If the name Spaceland Ballroom makes you think of Hamden's music rooms The Space and The Outer Space, you've probably been paying attention. If you haven't heard the news by now, Steve Rodgers is opening another venue, in the same Treadwell Street complex as his two other establishments. Bigger than its little sisters, literally, Spaceland Ballroom is equipped to bring even more talent good times to our neck of the woods. The first official show happens this Saturday, March 9, and features an all-local bill. Pop rock songstress Amanda Kaletsky, folk singer-songwriter Beth Patella and twangy surf rockers North Shore Troubadours warm up the stage, to make sure it's ready for the grand opening concert on March 15, fittingly featuring Steve Rodgers and his brother Jonny as their Mighty Purple acoustic duo.
