Celebrate the New Year at Middletown's Middnight on Main

On NYE, our state's mid-point (midd-point?) hosts only their second annual Middnight on Main, but it has the feel of being around a lot longer than that. Grab a Middnight on Main button (available online and at local vendors) and head to Downtown Middletown, where you'll be entertained by rooftop fireworks and dozens of musicians (including Dar Williams, pictured, at 8 p.m. at First Church Sanctuary), dancers, films, art displays and other creative revelry at various area stops.
