Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit Perform at Hartford's Arch Street Tavern on Dec. 8

Hartford must have done something karmically right to land two Jason Isbell visits in a single calendar year. Isbell, a former Drive-By Trucker who grew up in the Muscle Shoals, Ala. area, played solo at the Wadsworth Atheneum last time around. He's returning with his band, the 400 Unit, on the heels of Live From Alabama, a 13-track set released last month and the follow-up to their excellent 2011 studio album, Here We Rest. The wrong thing to assume here is that Isbell and Co. will return soon, so don't miss this one.
