It's not uncommon for a lead singer to perform a solo gig away from their original band. But when another member from the same group decides to join in, well, that's something you don't see or hear everyday. On November 10 at La Paloma Sabanera Coffee House, two members from the Fawns will be doing just that as lead singer and guitarist Lesa Bezo is joined by her fellow fawn, Henning Ohlenbusch (violin/guitar/synthesizer). Currently, the Fawns are celebrating a decade of writing power pop songs with two albums, Smiling (2003) and A Nice Place to Be (2006), and a third in the works. Lesa and Henning will also be supported by Girlfriend Project. The Hartford-based group, fronted by Julie Beman, will be joined by yet another fawn, Ken Maiuri.
