Louisania-born musician Jeff Mangum co-founded the early-Internet-era band Neutral Milk Hotel, whose album In the Aeroplane Over the Sea (album art pictured above) is undeniably one of the best indie-rock albums of the 1990s. Mangum disappeared for a decade or so, but since 2008 he has been performing solo shows, including a memorable 2011 set in New York City's Zuccotti Park, the site of the Occupy Wall Street headquarters. Although there hasn't been much new music from Mangum in recent years, his shows reliably sell out. Mangum's voice is one-of-a-kind, and those NMH songs... well. The Music Tapes, led by fellow Neutral Milk Hotel alum Julian Koster, also appear on the bill, along with the NYC-based Tall Firs.
