Jesse Cook Performs at The Bushnell in Hartford on Jan. 19
Canadian guitar wiz Jesse Cook brews a batch of his distinctive rumba-jazz-pop at Hartford's Bushnell Center on Saturday, from the fresh grounds of his recent album The Blue Guitar Sessions, which found the stringsman branching out with vocals by Emma-Lee. But just as often, words aren't needed; Cook's voice on the guitar sings on its own. Cook's won heaps of JUNO Awards (the Canadian Grammys, essentially) as well as three Canadian Smooth Jazz Award nods.
