The expansive New Haven-based chamber pop ensemble Goodnight Blue Moon (pictured) heads north to Hartford this week for a Thursday night show at Black-Eyed Sally's. Since 2009, core members of the group have been playing lush, vocal-heavy indie rock with mostly acoustic instruments; they've since added a violinist and a drummer, and they're currently gigging in support of their full-length debut, How Long, which was recorded at John Cavaliere's Lyric Hall Antiques and Restoration and in their apartment.
