The Primate Fiasco and Milksop: Unsung Perform at The Acoustic Cafe in Bridgeport on Dec. 15

Do you generally enjoy bands with tubas? If the answer is "yes" then you'll probably like the Primate Fiasco who plays at the Acoustic Cafe this Saturday night. This "psychedelic Dixieland" band from Northampton made a name for itself at festivals by playing "roaming" sets in areas where bands that require electricity can't venture. The instrumentation is what you'd expect from a classic New Orleans jazz band, but their song choices will definitely catch you off guard. New Haven's Milksop: Unsung opens, complete with upright bass, banjo and mandolin.
