Toots Hibbert is 70, but he pretty much looks and sounds the same as he did 40 years ago. Well, his birthday is Monday at any rate, but the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester is throwing a party on Friday with music provided by none other than Toots and the Maytals themselves. Special guests are promised, and the Tom Tom Club are slated to open, special guests in their own right (containing two local Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famers). Toots' last gig in the area got canceled by Hurricane Sandy, but Friday we will get sweet redemption. Happy Birthday, Toots!
