Grand Funk Railroad (a.k.a. Grand Funk) celebrates its 42nd anniversary this year, a group known for its '70s radio hits like "We're an American Band," "Time Machine" and "Some Kind of Wonderful" with one of the most amazing press photos we've seen in a long time (see photo). They also have been immortalized in popular culture as Homer Simpson's favorite musical act ("Homerpalooza", Season 7, Episode 24, 1997). The Ridgefield Playhouse welcomes this American band Saturday night, with a Guinness Black Lager tasting in the lobby before the show, starting at 7:15 p.m.
