The Heirloom Arts Theatre ran into some permit problems a couple weeks ago. And it sucked. But have no fear, they're back up and running, though their capacity has dropped as part of the deal. Some of the larger shows, like the Hold Steady date scheduled for Thursday, had to be moved to bigger rooms that can acommodate the crowds. (The Hold Steady will now be playing at Arch Street Tavern in Hartford on Thursday instead.) Still, there are shows booked every day from Friday through Tuesday. On Friday the experimental metal band Kayo Dot from Boston hits the stage, followed by Gameday Regulars, Nightmares for a Week and Two Fisted law on Saturday and Gabriel the Marine (pictured) on Sunday. For the weekday scene, they've got Raintree on Monday and I am Waves on Tuesday.
